About Me

This is my third year teaching second grade at BKW Elementary.  I grew up in Syracuse, New York and I graduated from Le Moyne College.  I have my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and am dually certified in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities.  I moved to Albany four years ago and I earned my Master's from SUNY Albany in Literacy becoming a Reading Specialist.  In my free time I love going to the movies, reading new books, and traveling. During the summer I work at the University of California Berkeley as an Activities Director for a Pre-College program. I have an amazing Goldendoodle puppy that we call Charlie the Dood.  This will be my last year teaching as Miss Miccuci because I am getting married next summer in Jekyll Island, Georgia! I look forward to getting to know your children better this year!
